Become MSc mentor or light guide!
Are you in Wageningen during the AID? Of course you are! Great, because the AID is looking for MSc mentors and MSc light guides. What’s the difference?
As a MSc mentor you will guide a group of international and Dutch MSc students the whole week. You will follow the same program as the BSc groups, which is the full program, lots of activities, you will be entertained from morning till night. You will give new students the perfect start of their student life in Wageningen.
As a MSc light guide you will guide a group of international and Dutch MSc students who follow the MSc light program. This is a less intensive program and more focused on information and less on student life. But this program will still give you access to all the night programs if you are up for it! Perfect for if you want to be part of the AID, but prefer less intensive days.
More information can be found here, or send us an email. See you in August!
Comedy Crawl

After the huge success of last year, the Comedy Crawl is back! And how? Throughout the centre of Wageningen, stand-up comedians will entertain and amuse you in small pubs, the Heerenstraat Theater and the Junushoff Theatre. This year the big talent Adam Fields will fill your evening with laughter and he will joke about his Dutch experiences with his inimitable British sense of humour.
And what about Bob Maclaren! A superbly visual performer from New Zealand with razor sharp observations. Bob is a brilliant story teller, original, hilarious, and his comic talents quickly got picked up by Discovery Channel, who gave him his own global show "Bob's World". A combination of kiwi isolation and the lurid madness of Amsterdam gives Bob a refreshingly unusual view of life as he sees it.
Curious about the rest of the comedians? Prepare yourself for Tuesday the 21st of August 8.30 pm! Be there!
Idealis Street Theatre Festival
On the 18th of August the Idealis Streettheater Festival takes place. After visiting several fairs, seeing hundreds of artists and lots of meetings, the Idealis Street Theater Festival is bound to be a success. During this evening of entertainment you can enjoy many different performances. From clown to acrobat, from music to living statues, all will be present in the centre of Wageningen.
To give you a scoop about the evening: make sure you don’t need to go the toilet because Noah Chorney has placed it 4 meters above the ground. Also, Lejo, famous from Sesame Street will be present! And how fast are your eyes? Make sure you don’t miss a thing with the men of Mind Magic.
August 18, 20.00h, city centre of Wageningen. Make sure you’re there!
